When I’m feeling overwhelmed, or creatively blocked I like to organize my ideas and inspiration with an Inspiration Board.

I know that being overwhelmed with ideas and absolutely unmotivated are complete opposites, but those are the two situations I am constantly ping ponging between when it comes to my creativity. It's either flowing or it's not. Anyone else with me here? I treat them almost the exact same way.

An Inspiration Board is very similar to a Vision Board, but it’s more of a collection of things I have seen lately that sparked something. I save these visuals so I can refer back to them when I'm feeling uninspired. I usually do this online via my Pinterest, but if I'm REALLY feeling something I'll print it out and stick it on the wall by my workbench. When I am building my inspiration boards, I am often most drawn to imagery that evokes some sort of emotion in me. I am also very drawn to textures.

With so many new pieces launching soon, I wanted to share my latest inspiration board with you! Warmth and simplicity really stood out to me for this one.

So without further ado, welcome to the weird little corner of my mind that creates your jewels.

Broad brushstrokes and bold lines for definition; flowing fabrics and watercolour to add movement. Y'all should know by now there will be coffee in everything I do. I wanted this collection of jewels to be wearable for everyone; from the tomboy to the jewelry obsessed, casual to dressy. Warm tones are not relative to the metal, but the feelings of comfort. Lastly, a few meaningful words of simplicity and growth to round it all out.
